Carl, Lets' be happy about one thing......that he did not resign as Gore would no doubt be President today. So while they think they pulled one over by remaining a "team" they pretty much ruined the Democrat party for the time being with it only getting worse.

'Blumenthal says he was relieved to discover that the first couple "were still working as a team."
"Without that, nothing was possible," he said. '
I think that one statement by Sid Vicious precisely sums up EVERYTHING about this couple!! Together, they are like a huge, merciless machine...mowing down everything that isn't to their advantage. Separate, they're not nearly as effective. They NEED each other. That's why she'll never divorce him.

Hillary was in shock and awe that Bill had lied to her about Monica Lewinsky. This from the woman who hired private detectives to counter "bimbo eruptions" during her husband's first Presidential campaign. I can't wait to see Ann Coulter's take on all of this.

I can't believe that Hitlery would even dare to feel betrayed. Ol' Bubba has been doing this sorta thing for years. Like this was anything new and she didn't know. Geez, Louise. Give me a break.

"Blumenthal's Book Contradicts Hillary's"Well of course it would - I imagine that Blumenthal actually wrote his book himself!

I don't see a contradiction in the accounts:
"I could barely speak to Bill, and when I did, it was a tirade," the former first lady insists.
Isn't this Hillary's standard way of communicating?
Seriesly, the problem they have in dealing with this is that in actuality, everyone from Hillary! on down had spent half their adult lives trying to cover up Bill's bimbo eruptions. Nobody was shocked that he'd been nailing Monica, and nobody was fooled. One of the areas where Bill Clinton was very much like JFK is that he wasn't very discerning about who he nailed, and didn't worry nearly enough about the possibility of the female talking. Eventually, it will come out that every female that entered the White House was servicing either Bill or Hill. But like everything else about the Clintons, it will come out in dribs and drabs.

Hmmm! Hillary's and Blumenthal's lies don't coincide. Now that's news. I guess when they are no longer in the White House they don't have any way to coordinate their lies.

Hillary doesn't care who or what Bill
does.
It's when he gets caught there's a problem.

Very strange if Hillary's people didn't get to vet Blumenthal's manuscript.

Rick Blaine: How can you close me up? On what grounds?
Captain Louis Renault: I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here!
[A croupier hands Renault a pile of money]
Croupier: Your winnings, sir.
Captain Louis Renault: [sotto voice] Oh, thank you very much.
