I guess he wanted HIS wife to be seen with diamond everything. I don't know how much she had. I thought there was at least one diamond (ring?) she got from her grandmother, plus there would have been her engagement ring, plus the diamond earrings and bracelet she was allegedly wearing, when he described her for the FBI missing person's report.

You can bet that Scott considered all her more valuable jewelry to be HIS as well as HERS.

There are special riders, I think, aren't there, to include jewelry in certain general insurance policies? And wouldn't it be a problem for him to claim LACI'S lost jewelry, in an insurance claim?

I really dunno, Anse, but I ran this by the Sandlapper, (who generally knows nothing, but thinks he knows it all--gawd, I love that man, LOL). He seems to think that any jewelry I might have insured under our homeowner's policy, if I get kidnapped, murdered, and the jewelry stolen from my dead body, that he would be able to file a claim to cover his "jewelry loss". Now, that really hurts my feelings! LOL. I'm counting on my FR friends not to let the Sandlapper get away with anything. 'kay?
