habs4ever, here's part of a press release about the indictions: The first bombing incident occurred at Centennial Olympic Park, where thousands of visitors had gathered on the ninth day of the 1996 Summer Olympics. The bomb, placed near the main stage in the park, injured more than 100 people, many of them permanently, and killed Alice Hawthorne, a mother who had traveled to Atlanta with her daughter to see the Olympics. A Turkish cameraman, Melih Uzunyol, died of a heart attack responding to the blast.

It sounds like Mrs. Davis is Murphy NC's media gadfly. What surprised me is that her trolling the media was actually reported.

"It was a video and audio clip of his sister in law... the source is not important..."

The source is always important. Video tapes are edited and comments can be taken out of context.

We all have a tendancy to believe reports that we agree with, regardless of the source of those reports. I'm not saying that I disagree with the premise that Rudolph is the bomber or that he is a racist, what I am saying is that anything broadcast by CNN should be questioned because of the past behavior of CNN.

Whatever happened to "a man is innocent unless proven
guilty"? Remember the poor little chubby guy at the scene
of the Olympic bombing who was tried and convicted by the
media frenzy and law enforcement? He finally sued and
collected a huge settlement for libel and slander when he
was proven to be innocent.

It ought to be kept in mind that accusing people of helping a fugitive is accusing them of committing a crime. It's one thing to believe that Rudolph is likely a terrorist, it's quite another to smear a whole town.

I thought the comment of the Murphy townsman, who recounted the feds' dismissive treatment of the locals (who could have been useful in hunting down the fugitive) when they first descended on the town.

The whole spin on Murphy, and the entire rural mountainous south, plays into some very convenient leftist prejudices.

You're talking about Jewell, and he is in the news again. I don't know if he ever actually collected anything, but he and his lawyer are very interested in this arrest and the evidence that will speak to their cause of action. If you recall, practically fifteen minutes after they gave up on Jewell, they suddenly discovered that Rudolph was the perp.

Those who helped him had better hope he keeps his mouth shut... or they're gonna be charged themselves... for conspiracy...

I seen it reported too that he is talking... If I were them.... I'd be extremely worried...

Oh, yah, she is clearly an idiot.

Thanks for checking out my profile....you inspired me to do the same for you, Tex. Which leads me to repeat a few words from a fictional hero of mine.......

"If I ever meet a Texan who hasn't drunk water from a hoofprint I think I'll shake his hand and buy him a Daniel Webster cigar."

Your Chamber of Commerce Texas promo is okay, but we here in NH have NEITHER a sales NOR income tax.

Regards ;^)

Rudolph is not convicted yet of anything yet...What I should have said is that IMHO Rudolph is a killer....but who here believes he will not be convicted of murder? I don't know if he killed Alice Hawthorne or not...No she definately didn't deserve to die....Mr Sanderson didn't desreve to die either....but Mr. Sanderson had a choice didn't he? He had to know that providing "security" to a baby killing factory is dangerous thing to do. Who was providing security to the babies that were killed there every day? Nobody.....The horrible part of all this is that there are too many people who have sympathy for the abortionists and their support staff.....and little for the real victims....the truly innocents who will never have the chance to show their worth or that they are truly worthless.

The brother theorizes that Rudolph's ideology was influenced when their mother hauled him off to a Missouri commune run by the Christian Identity Movement, which espouses white power. The antiabortion focus is said to result from the notion that "they are murdering white babies. If they were murdering black babies, they'd be all for it," Rudolph's brother said.

Well, er maybe

How does an abortion clinic differ all that much from a nazi death camp?

How much like Mengele( sic) et al differ from guards and so called nurses at such a place?

However, it is not my perogative to be their judge, nor was it Eric Rudolph's.

All this is not clear as a bell or plain as the nose on your face to me. Murder and slaughter.

In the case of the victim in Olympic Park, she refused to be ordered around by a white cop and got killed as a result. Remember Richard Jewell?

tight lines and right turns

Did you know that that so called guard at the abortion clinic was actually a police officer just doing his job and that he personally was against abortions?
