Are you saying that about Ashcroft/Bush? If so, have you written a letter and expressed to your elected federal officials?
Integrity would be lost if law enforcement chose to ignore the laws it didn't like to enforce . . . I agree. But integrity is also lost if law enforcement chooses to enforce laws in an arbitrary and capricious manner.
I have no need to contact Bush and Ashcroft over this. I've got a more powerful weapon at my disposal -- as a potential juror in any criminal case. If I were on the jury in the Federal case against Eric Rudolph, he'd be walking out of court a free man.
