Huh... I will be surprised if it happens.... I can't imagine it won't be argued in court as too brutal by today's standards.

For example, we have a guy still alive on death row up here in WA because in WA, if a guy chooses *not* to choose, he is hung, and he is so fat, they are afraid his head will come off. For some reason, that is a problem.

If I remember right the Firing Squad was the humane method, in Utah, as opposed to hanging, that was the choise when I was a kid. the volunteers were polled from the juror list.

Nope, other than attorneys argue on everything. However, if I understand correctly these slugs chose a firing squad. I would do the same. Definitely preferred to the supposedly "humane" lethal injection.

A two inch drop would be one way to prevent this. They'd just have to leave him dangling for 30 minutes or so.
