Bush: class. Clinton: trash.

Mr. Bush typically disclaimed any credit for his critical intervention but he earned the gratitude of many FBI agents and the Khobar families. I quickly dispatched the FBI case agents back to Saudi Arabia, where they interviewed, one-on-one, six of the Hezbollah members who actually carried out the attack. All of them directly implicated the IRGC, MOIS and senior Iranian government officials in the planning and execution of this attack. Armed with this evidence, the FBI recommended a criminal indictment that would identify Iran as the sponsor of the Khobar bombing. Finding a problem for every solution, the Clinton administration refused to support a prosecution.

I wonder how this will play out.

I'd like to believe that it would raise a big stink...but I think we both know better.
Nothing to see here move along now.

I did not catch blaming Bush 1 but they did imply Clinton had wanted to improve relations with Iran and with Hezbollah involved and Clinton's aim for a Peace Prize....well..

Some of his 'screw ups' may be directly related to his boss and what he would 'let' him do...some things about Clintoon, we may never know. But something like this should be SHOUTED from the roof tops!

Recall, as well, that Louis Freeh testified before a Congressional committee that they did not share all their intelligence data with the White House because they "believed White House security had been compromised."

"At how high a level?", was the follow up.

"At the very highest.", Freeh responded.

The only place this bombshell revelation got an airing was on this website.

Louis Freeh did his best to tell the country. The mainstream media simply refused to "pass it on".

The mainstream media simply refused to "pass it on".

I'm shocked that anyone would think that those paragons of journalistic integrity in the mainstream media would not cover a story like this!
I get ALL my news from NBC because "now more than ever!"

I'm sure this story is true, but I couldn't help but notice that Louis Freeh's "outrage" wasn't enough to drive him to resign and go public immediately about Klinton's attempt to slow-roll anti-terrorism investigations and prosecutions. He has a lot to answer for, and this is nothing but an attempt to vacuum his conscience.

Let's see now. Whe now have DIRECT testimony from the former FBI director that Bill Clinton refused (or was unable) to help in a terrorist investigation that had killed 19 Americans.

We have solid testimony that Bill Clinton was intentionally negligent in working to obtain the arrest of Osama bin Laden while he was in Sudan.

Does anyone not begin to wonder about the TWA800 crash and how quickly the FBI took over the case?

How about the mountain of evidence that Tim McVeigh and Terry Nichols had help in bombing the Murrah Building?

I said it before and I'll say it again, Bill Clinton was/is the greatest threat this country has faced since 1961.

BTTT.

Like some others here, I think Freeh is just trying to salve his concience (if he has one). An honorable man would not have served.

Note that there were NO resignations over policy during the klinton administration. Freeh was a threat to liberty while in power. I remember him well.
