I love these Matrix threads. Something about this flick brings out the Scrooge in people. I haven't seen it yet but there is simply no way it could suck worse than hundreds and hundreds of other films- Dumb and Dumber, American Pie 2, Rambo 2, Event Horizon to name a few. I mean those movies made me question whether I wanted to be part of the human race or not- literally.

I'm looking forward to seeing it and I'm already pretty sure I would see it at least a couple of times. I won't judge it totally until I've seen all three- I figure I would have only seen two thirds of the story after this one. It took a long time for the Matrix to percolate in my thoughts. I still watch it every so often and enjoy it every time (every time something new). I expect it to have this one sorted out by the time the last installment of the trilogy comes out.

Prepare yourself for an incredible ride. Many people are missing the significance of the Dance/Love scene in the film; probably because they are waiting for the special effects, which are way beyond anything that has ever been done before. The chase scene is unbelievable.

If you are interested in the film's message, you will have a much better time, than if you are there for the effects. Just remember what Morpheus asks Neo in the first movie; "What is real; how do you define REAL?" Then you will have a blast.
