Rep. Ron Paul, M.D.(R-Tx) is a blessing on the house of Congress. Everything I have heard about Dr. Paul tells me he would be a blessing upon our nation as President in 2008.

Senate must have passed that tax cut bill.

Gloves are off, now.

All bills that should be passed tomorrow. And, of course, they probably will be passed in the house. The Senate is the problem.

Another baby-killing Libertarian who wants to see kindergarteners hooked on heroin .

So have the Republicans passed Ron Paul's bill to withdraw from the UN yet?

Ron Paul would do well to focus on the non-profit mailing privileges extended to abortion mills and their flaks.

Wonderful! Where are we now with the ban on Partial-Birth Abortion??? That should have made its way to the President's desk by now.

Once again, Ron Paul steps up and promotes basic American values! Once more, he steps into the breach and reminds his colleagues of the Constitutional realities that most of the rest of them seem to ignore! (I have been trying to get Congress to limit the jurisdiction of the District Courts on a number of issues since I was in College.)

Thank you for posting this. The more publicity we can give to the tiny handful of real statesmen that remain at any level of Government in America, today, the better chance we have of seeing their numbers grow.

“Second, I rise to introduce the Partial-birth Abortion Funding Ban Act of 2003 (H.R. 1545). This bill prohibits federal officials from paying any federal funds to any individual or entity that performs partial-birth abortions. The taxpayer must not be forced to fund this barbaric procedure.

My EXPECTATION is that the ban on this hideous procedure pass in the House of Representatives very, very soon. It has passed the Senate, which was the question mark. If this doesn't get passed and signed by GWB before summer recess, face it, there will be a litany of excuses. It'll never be as good as it is right now for this to happen.

I would hope that no pro-lifers would give the administration a pass on this one. GWB has said he's pro-life. It's time to step to the plate and get this passed. Every day delay is more dead babies.

I know when he came to my Christmas party in Dec. 2001 he said we have the right to LIFE, liberty, and pursuit of happiness... and the most important of those is the RIGHT TO LIFE! That would not allow abortion! Not abortion on demand for after the fact birth control.

Rep. Ron Paul, M.D.(R-Tx) is a blessing on the house of Congress. Everything I have heard about Dr. Paul tells me he would be a blessing upon our nation as President in 2008.

I will be voting for the incumbent at that time, George W Bush.........and he will win.

2012...................Mr Paul has something to say. It's worth a listen.

Mr. Speaker, I rise today to introduce three bills relating to abortion.

“First, the Freedom of Conscience Act of 2003 (H.R. 1548) prohibits any federal official from expending any federal funds for any population control or population planning program or any family planning activity. It is immoral to force the American taxpayers to subsidize programs and practices they find morally abhorrent.

“Finally, my Life-Protecting Judicial Limitation Act of 2003 (H.R. 1546) provides that the inferior courts of the United States do not have jurisdiction to hear abortion-related cases. Congress must use the authority granted to it in Article 3, Section 1 of the Constitution. The district courts of the United States, as well as the United States Court of Federal Claims, should not have the authority to hear these types of cases.

There isn't anything I wouldn't support here.

It is immoral to force the American taxpayers to subsidize programs and practices they find morally abhorrent.

Voting 'yes' here.

The taxpayer must not be forced to fund this barbaric procedure.

I'll vote 'yes' here also............

Mr Paul uses terms that show how he feels about such practices...........immoral and barbaric....certainly not vote disqualifying words to me.
