I agree 100%. Whenever conservatives make a "vote of conscience", we all get screwed. Look at what votes for Perot got us.

Exactly. Perot and his supporters became a tool of the Democratic Party, and paved the way for Clinton's reign of terror.

It will be a bad thing for conservativism in this country if another conservative rival to the Republican Party rises up.

Republicans are not ENTITLED to conservative or libertarian leaning votes. Bush, or anybody else for that matter, has to earn them.

I see a real 'entitlement' stance(I'm not accusing you for that) taken here and other forums by a lot of people. That will kill us, since all it will do is get a middle finger in response and drive them further to Phillips, Buchanan, or Browne.
