The Ultimate Hillary Nightmare
Mat 14th. 2003 | b.b.e.b.

Just picture that is just 2 months from the presidential election and the democrats pull a Torricelli during the presidential election. Who ever the candidate is for the democrats steps down and Hillary takes his place.

With only 2 months left to the campaign no one is allowed to run negative (according to McCain Feingold) campaign adds against Hillary.

I propose a PAC that we start now to keep reminding the American public why she should not only be not in an elected position of any kind but why she should be in jail.

We should come up with 7 top reminders of her past behavior and just keep pounding on her. Never stop! I have learned to never underestimate these people. I never thought Bill could get elected the first time.

I know from a Nevada DNC member that they are making plans for Hillary to run. They are going to focus on the economy, which will most likely be much better be November 2004 and the secrecy of the Bush administration and how civil rights have deteriorated.

It will be easy to remind the public of the Clintons past felonies including the illegal use of the FBI on the travel staff and other examples like that.

On privacy issues we can remind folks about the clipper chip they tried to pull on every one. The list goes on. Regardless it is now time to put up our best line of defense.

HIllary is the ultimate nightmare! We need to be on guard and assume that no political dirty trick will be too dirty for the queen bitch. She is easily as big a threat to America as Osama or Saddam.

I think it could happen. If the Dem nominee is way behind, the party will see no reason to pursue the matter (fund-raising will dry up). So, switching to Hillary can't be a worse proposition.

If McCain-Feingold blocks negative ads against Hillary Clinton (candidate for office) would it also block negative ads against Bill Clinton (no longer a candiate for anything)? No mention of Hillary. Simply reminding people: "Bill Clinton. A disgraceful President."

Don't waste your time worrying about this hideous creature. She's not going to risk losing to Bush in '04 when she knows damn well she can't win.

Don't give her any more publicity by this type of posting. I am sick and tired of hearing about her!

I don't know about this. It left a black mark when they did it with Torrecelli, and then the pass over of all the young ones in the party for Mondale really turned people off.

If she did this, I am sure Al Sharpton and the other Democratic candidates would go nuts over being passed over.

Wouldn't fly. The states have deadlines for a nominee to be on the ballot, and since the U.S. Code specifically mentions that state legislatures have the sole power to determine how presidential electors are to be elected, and SCOTUS has already provided a precedent for overriding a state supreme court in Bush v. Gore, a Torricelli ploy won't work in the manner you have described. Hillary would have to be nominated at the convention to run for prez in 2004.

I looked in the dictionary and next to the definition of "dirty trick" is Hillary's picture.

So could we run ads that go like this.....
"A certain woman who held an unelected place in the White House, did this and this and this. Do you want her as president??"
Put up a great cartoon of her and we are in.
Does that go against the rules?
No names mentioned but we all get the drift.

I believe that they were testing the acceptance and the legality waters. The dems were checking the sheeple to see if they would readily accept it, they did. The dems were also checking to see if they could get it past the court system (even though it is illegal), they did.

There is nothing here to see if you want Hitlary to be your next Pres.

We can run all the political ads we want on the web saying anything we want through election day. They can be run from off shore rather from the United States.

The Clinton controlled DNC has no intention of a Democrat winning the Presidency in 2004. They want to run Hillary in 2008 and don't want to have to compete with an incumbent, especially another Democrat.

They are going to focus their efforts and money until her 2008 run on getting control of the House and Senate back. They need the House to write tax bills. Can you imagine Hillary as President with a Dem House and Senate, Carl Marx, move over.

If the Dem nominee is way behind, there is no way Hillary will take the fall for them. She is no McGovern or Mondale. The only time she runs is if the polls show she has a good chance to win. Hillary will never jeopardize her NY senate seat.

Hillary controls the Party. What is bad for Hillary is bad for the Party, in their eyes. If switching to Hillary damages her power posture, then it will NOT be done, whether it is a better position for Democrat fund-raising and voting or not.

The SCOTUS has already ruled that portion of the law unconstitutional. Free speech had a major victory, but got almost no network coverage. Networks were robbed of their ability to control the debate in the last month, so this ruling is a defeat for them.

Let's take things one at a time...she wouldn't dare chance a lose. I firmly believe that if she ran it would bring out every, single Republican to register if they're not and sweep the entire United States. The thought of Bill Clinton back in our beloved White House is the scariest of all thoughts...we won't let it happen!

the Ultimate Hillary (or Dean or Lieberman or any of 'em) is if the Patriot Act II gets passed in to law and the Dems cycle back into power.

Whether its 2004 (doubt it highly), 2008, or 2012, or whenever, I shudder to think what abuses they will invoke with Hatch's little idea.
