Beautiful, lovely homes you all have :-)

Love the hottub diverdave

Oh my Amy, coyotes so close to the homestead

Living in NY, the weather is still too cool to put in my annuals, anxiosly waiting.

Yes Billie, that is wisteria, I love it. Thinking about putting one in my yard.

Valerie, always enjoy the beauty you capture on film, lovely photos.

Great photos from Charleston LadyX, will be going there this summer

Your Iris's are lovely. I love Iris's, reminds me of my childhood...my Dad who was not really much into gardening planted the most beautiful purple Iris's. The house I grew up in was sold, I have friends who still live next door, so I visit 14th street frequently :-) When I see those Iris's in bloom, puts a big smile on my face :-)

Thanks for the cake for our beloved T Man.

You're quite welcome, Billie. And I'm sure The Thin Man will need some more, seeing as how there's so many chocoholics eating HIS cake! : )

I have a sister-in-law who can take a plant that I'd throw away, and nurse it back to lush, green, healthy LIFE!

My Dad has that gift. Unfortunately for him, he had to give up his yard and move into a condo last year. My mother felt the yard was too much for him and nudged him into a condo. I know he misses his landscaping terribly, but at 78 (God love him!) it really was an awful lot for him to manage.

and hope you can post more from your backyard this evening. I'd love to see the roses in the garden.

Okay, you asked for it. LOL! Here is a picture of a new rose I planted last fall, it's called "Bridal Pink". I also planted a bareroot JFK rose last February, I've gotten a couple of flowers off of it but it hasn't done much yet. I have high hopes for it. It is a greenish white rose, with a creamy center. Very pretty but no fragrance.

"Bridal Pink" Floribunda Rose

Billie, roses are very easy to grow. Just get a good systemic fertilizer/insecticide, deadhead them once in awhile and prune them back in the fall. That's pretty much all there is to it. :-)

Well, this is the best I can do...don't have no "pinky" smilies. : )

I'm trying to play catch up, lol! : )

Iris has to be one of the most elegant flowers. Second only to orchids.

When I was a floral designer (in a previous life - did custom designs for 11 years 1978-89) the iris was one of my favorite flowers to work with.

That one will do! Beaming my wish your way! :-)

Man, do I know from playing "catch-up." Some days I'm so far behind I don't even bother!
