We theorized that it happened the other way. We figured that Air Force One had some sort of maintenance problem that had to be fixed before taking off. Not wanting that info public, since Air Force One is the airborne command post in case of a nuclear attack on America, the White House decided to blame the delay on an expensive haircut that the president was supposedly getting on board the plane just before takeoff.
