I have a question for those opposed to tax cuts: Why are they bad, but spending increases are okay?
You say tax cuts are like spending money we don't have. But you have no problem increasing spending on programs we don't want.

Neil can have some of the worst guests on his show, but he redeems himself at the end with his "Common Sense" segments.

Often, I dont watch Cavutos whole program...But I always try to tune in to the ending and his 'Common Sense' segments....and I even print them all out...
And I also enjoy the 'mail' section at the end where he lets his viewers voice some of their ideas...I like it, where he allows others to make fun of his clothes, his appearance, and even his 'big head', as one viewer complained...Neil says he can dish it out with the best of them, and hence he expects to have to take it as well..
I especially liked todays 'Common Sense', where Neil warns, that he is not going away....not ever....not even when he is dead...
Neil Cavuto is tops...

I have a question for those opposed to tax cuts: Why are they bad, but spending increases are okay? Tax cuts benefit the rich, while spending increases are a necessary investment in our future. If they save the life of one child, the increases are worth it.

Great! I wish he would have addressed it directly to Olympia Snow. She was on in the next hour, The Big Story, saying that Republicans had to get back to "our" roots....."being against the deficit."

Sometimes I wish she was just snow on Mt. Olympia. It would at least be pretty to look at.

Everytime tax cuts become an issue, I go wild at the suggestion that because some rich guy somewhere might get a break, other tax payers can't have one. As if the super rich don't have the means to avoid paying much tax, proportionatly, in the first place. Neil is on to the scam, God bless him.

I'm with you. I don't define my happiness or joy by how much someone else is screwed. If I get a tax cut and it puts $1000 in my pocket, I'm just as happy regardless whether the rich guy got 10,000 or 20,000 at the same time.

Everyone would prefer to be wealthy, as opposed to poverty.
I plan on winning the Florida LOTTO someday, and any way my future tax liability is lowered will make me happy!
People against tax cuts always cause me to scratch my head.
If they really want to pay more money to the Feds, they can always donate any additional amount they want at least once each year,on or before April1 5.

We need to encourage voluntary contributions to state and federal treasuries. I get so sick of hearing Democrats complain about taxes being too low. Just send in more, Dummy, and quit your complaining.

BIG BUMP! For a must read "Cavuto"
(I think Cavuto's a national treasure---and real cute, too!)
To: Maigret
And why is it that when a proposed spending increase is reduced to less of an increase, it's considered a program spending cut?
