Nothing like a leftist's sense of superiority, "mais non"? He has to write in french to show how superior and cerebral he is to the "provincial" among us. Wow, i'm sooo impressed that he can write in 10th grade French (and yes, I understood it without the translation--big deal). He reminds me of those pseudo-intellectuals who strew words like "sans" and "uber" in their dialogue to feign intelligence. Doesn't fool me or other FReepers; we know it's just a ploy to keep readers/listeners from realizing they have no substance or insight. As a cartoonist, he really sucks--not funny, not insightful, not nothing! I can't figure out who reads his drivel.

you forgot "not skilled as a draftsman"
he is not in the same league as Bill Waterson or Frank Cho, not by worlds. His artwork is barely more developed than that of Gary Larson.
And Larson managed to be both intelligently witty and biting, now and then.
What can Trudeau do, except insult America?
