The Left's causes' always seem to be at odds with smoothing running government. It really seems obvious that the Left just tries to muddle the political scene with so many obstacles (issues to them) that conservatives end up "letting" some slide by unopposed. The truths now know is that opposition to all liberal/left issues forces an honest soul searching that normally results in mature minds prevailing.... Mature minds, kind of the same theme Churchill espoused in Britain in the 1930s, e.g., if youve not a liberal at 18 then you have no passion, but if by 40 years of age you are not a conservative based upon your experience of raising a family and paying bills

This is one of Coulter's best in a while.
She rips the Left apart on their hypocrisy 1-2-3. They are truly a party in disarray.
And George Bush is the man with the plan. He needs to head down to the Capitol one of these nights for a prime-time joint session and tells this Congress that their job is to remove the brakes from this economy by passing HIS economic plan. Tax cuts. Elimination of useless programs.
He needs to tell them that Americans are looking for more jobs and more opportunities. He needs to tel them that thousands of entrepreneurs are willing to take risks to create these jobs. But not if their reward is stolen by the government as tax.
Excessive taxation tilts the risk-reward balance too far to the federal "house" favor. And many people just choose not to play. It's no different than a casino.
I want this President to quickly use some of this post-Iraq period to blast these Senators out of their stupor. As the President said last night, the "Turning of the Tide". Once we get this economy tide turned, America's rebirth will be well on the way.
