Ammo dump blast hits Baghdad neighborhood

BAGHDAD (CNN) -- A large cache of confiscated Iraqi ammunition exploded Saturday morning at a coalition-controlled military base in southern Baghdad, destroying at least four houses and killing and injuring residents.

U.S. Central Command said six Iraqis had been found dead and four were wounded, but residents of the Zafraniya neighborhood, about four miles from the city center, said at least 14 people were killed and 30 wounded.

Got this right offa FOX..

"Army Spc. Kevin Braam said the dump stored both Iraqi and U.S. ammunition..."

Why is US ammo there?? That is my question.

Notice the Madonna and Child on the upper right hand corner. The blast obviously occured in a Christian neighborhood. Who wants to bet that Muslim radicals targeted it on purpose! I am surpirsed that no-one has pointed this out. On the other hand, maybe the press is not reporting it on purpose or they are doing a lousy job at reporting.
