Well, actually he's a native born (Fort Worth) Texan. But he lived in Balmer for about 6 years. Came back here for less than a year and them moved to Rockford, Ill for the past 3 or 4 years. He just moved back into his (former) rent house in November last year.

I've gotta tell this story.

We used to have some friends that would have us over for cookouts, they lived on 5 acres but still had neighbors nearby. Right before mealtime the mom would go over to the door and set the burglar alram system off for about a minute then turn it off. We finally asked her one day what she did that for and she said she was calling the kids to come eat. LOL!
