WELCOME TO THE USO CANTEEN FREEPERSTYLE! |
WELCOME TO THE PRO-AMERICAN CELEBRITY APPRECIATION DAY! Today, we will be highlighting some of America's supportive celebrities. These people do not care what Michael Moore thinks. They don't care how unpopular they will be in Hollywood. They don't even care whether or not "President" Bartlett (Martin Sheen) sleeps well at night. Finally, they don't care what Susan Sarandon and her flame, Tim Robbins, believes. They stand with President Bush, our troops, and America. For that, we are paying homage to them today! Come and join in the fun!
Be sure to click on all the pictures to get a link! Also, visit www.celiberal.com for more information about all the celebrities!! |
Obviously, no one likes war. Our Congress and President tried hard to avoid the use of force, but ultimately decided it was the best course of action. I like the assertiveness shown by President Bush and think we owe it to our political and military leaders, along with our brave soldiers to be as supportive as possible during these difficult and trying times. I just wanted to take this opportunity to let our forces know that I am thinking about you and wishing you and your families the best. ---Tiger Woods, Golfer, from his website |

Veteran Hollywood star Jon Voight has blasted documentary maker Michael Moore for making an anti-war speech during the Oscars ceremony. The actor, who played a Vietnam veteran in Coming Home, took offense at Moore when he lambasted President George W. Bush as 'a fictional president' and claimed that America was 'against the war' in Iraq. Voight says, "I didn't like it very much. Michael Moore looks for trouble and exposes it, and he thinks that's the whole story. I don't agree with him. "I was thinking of the guys overseas. I was hoping all was going well." |
Hollywood Honor Roll Yes! Michael J. Fox (otherwise known to Reaganites as Alex P. Keaton) Rob Lowe (Yes! The same one that got busted at the DNC convention)
Kurt Russell is a proud card carrying member of the NRA. (Despite Goldie Hawn, he's a supporter) From "Northern Exposure" to motherhood. She's one Texan that won't back down. Dennis Hopper: "We need to support the decision that's been laid down by our government to go after Saddam and try to get him to disarm, which is what the United Nations is talking about, and not to give Saddam a mixed message that maybe he can get out of this."
Jean-Claude Van Damme says Hollywood anti-war activities are "part of the axis of ignorance."
Need someone to tell the anti-war protesters where to go? Here's Shannen Doherty!
She's done battle on tv with plenty of good girls. Heather Locklear!
There are plenty of other celebrities! Whose your favorite pro-America celeb? |
"All I can say is the president of the United States is a great leader, I happen to think he's a wonderful man and if he believes what he's doing is right I back him 100 per cent," said Gretzky, in Calgary for a news conference for Ronald McDonald Children's Charities.
"If the president decides to go to war he must know more than we know, or we hear about. He must have good reason to go and we have to back that." --- Wayne Gretzky, NHL Legend

There are many athletes, actors, and actresses that support America and especially our troops! There has been a lot written about those that seem to despise America and everything that we stand for. Today we highlight these people. Have fun everyone! |

Seven former U.S. prisoners of war were flown back to the United States from a U.S. Air Force base in Germany. They were greeted at Fort Bliss in Texas by a cheering crowd waving American flags and yellow ribbons as they were reunited with their families. The two Apache helicopter pilots and five members of an Army maintenance unit were freed by U.S. forces last Sunday north of Baghdad after being captured in Iraq in March.

Seven freed U.S. prisoners of war recuperating in Germany made a brief public appearance on Friday to thank Americans for their 'tremendous support.' The seven, two Apache helicopter pilots and five soldiers from a maintenance unit, were taken prisoner on March 23 as U.S. troops advanced on Baghdad. They were freed on Sunday by U.S. forces north of Baghdad and arrived in Germany on Wednesday
