Our troops have already uncovered terrorist training camps in Iraq that were (a) associated with Abbas' Palestine Liberation Front, and (b) recently used. All we need is one document or one witness linking him to those places, and he is toast. Nothing signed in 1995 covers activities since. |

I don't think Saddam was letting Abbas hang in Iraq out of the goodness of his heart...

"Nothing signed in 1995 covers activities since."
A fact that the terrorists choose to ignore.

Does
this apply? Try "Lie #5" at the bottom of the article. More on Abbas.

When I heard of his capture my first thought was of the training camp and of the suicide vests. Immediately I wondered if he weren't the head honcho running the camp and making sure suicide bombers got state of the art vests.
So the next day, naturally, the BBC guy poses a question at Centcom based on the premise Abbas has not been involved in terrorism for many years. Brooks set him straight and said Abbas was, continued to be and remained to that moment a terrorist. Yes, they've got the goods on him, I'm sure.

(thousands of cheering Iraqis yelled, "America, America, America," and "Bush, Bush, Bush.")
