I agree, I think it's natural and cathartic for there to be healthy amount of looting. The UN is a perfectly deserving target, as it failed Iraq for 12 years.

I think the failure of the presstitutes is a combination of (1) half of them are anti-US and want to point to anything that can make this look like a bad thing and (2) they're hypersensitive to any remotely bad thing to the civilians, they act as if we swore to fight a war without using bullets and with no bloodshed.

No matter how much the US tiptoes through this bending over backwards to ensure that every Iraqi puppy gets three square meals a day, the media will dwell on anything bad they can find and spin it out of all proportion.

By now they probably think of the UN as one of Saddam's agencies. They may have no idea of what it is, only that the UN jumped to Saddams orders. I would not want to be the first UN worker in some of these neighborhoods, there may be an anger issue here.
