Amtraks on the NTV Bagcam now.

About this time every night, NTV starts going through a bunch of Reuters tape, some of it possibly more-or-less current, some of it days old. For instance, the first shot tonight was of the riverbank by the palace during the original "taking" two days ago.

I switched to CBS/ABC -- they've got a working bagcam, with sound, although we'll probably have to endure (or enjoy :-) 3-2-1 Rick Engel when he wakes up and gets his hair right.

HA !! I doubt Pretty Chicken will be showing his face anywhere near the cameras unless they're down in one of Saddam's bunkers. He was too chicken to leave the hotel when we were only across the river... now that the hotel has actually been hit, he'll be doing his reports crouching down behind the guardrail. Oh, and the other day, when he was saying he wouldn't go across the river because it was too dangerous, it was because when he woke up in his hotel room, there was a bullet hole through the window of his room. (I think reality started to hit at that point.)

Just saw the Reuters logo at the end. Now they're showing wounded people in a hospital(?).

And one last question before I hit the rack:

My computer and AOL have been acting utterly FREAKY ever since I started watching the BagCams about a week ago. I'm computer technology ignorant... but is it possible for these live streams to contain bugs that are messing up our computers?
