Hollywood activist actors ruined many favorites, didn't they? I pretty much like pre-60s, especially the 40's film classics...and think Ted Turner could do more for the world by renting his library of MGM classics to stations the poor people of the world get, then by giving the UN a trillion $$$. (^:

AMC's now run by peaceniks w/ bad taste. Tell me about it!! "Mommy Dearest", "To Wong Foo", and "The Birdcage" have been on nearly non-stop for several weeks. I'm just waiting for "The Valley of the Dolls" marathon to start.
