I just saw a commercial breakaway on MSNBC. It was INCREDIBLE, especially considering the source.
Music swells to an opening on black screen as white script letters appear:
Saluting our next
"Greatest Generation"Beautiful pictures of our service men and women in action begin to flash on the screen, as President Bush's voice comes on:
"The world has witnessed the skill and honor and resolve of our military in the course of battle.We have seen the character of this new generation of America's armed forces...and we thank God that liberty found such brave defenders"
[Jets flying off a carrier, infantry running thru the desert, soldier shaking hands with old Arab man}
There WILL be a day of reconning for the Iraqi regime and that day is drawing near
[Tanks race across the desert, night-goggled sodiers searching a home...CROWD ROARS ITS APPLAUSE]
We will be re-lent-less in our pursuit of victory. [cheers!]
Fade to soldier's helmet with sticker that says "God Bless America".
Un-frenchin'-believable!

Reminds me of the airline commercial after 9/11 where all the employees were reciting Bush's speech like he was Chairman Mao and they were Chinese. It was a great commercial for our victory in 2002.

Ever since MSNBC dumped Donapew and added Michael Savage and Joe Scarborough to the lineup, I have been under the impression that the FOX ratings have made them see the light in a way that CNN has not!

(thousands of cheering Iraqis yelled, "America, America, America," and "Bush, Bush, Bush.")
