"Yes, Chekov, this was the start of a fair and balanced news media in the early 21st Century."

It is a brilliant move on Bush's part to allow embed's to report the war news live. It is not only a reporting outlet, but a legal document for future diplomatic squables. Also, many formerly liberal reporters have found a new found respect for our troops. I suspect we will be seeing a much altered media when everything is said and done.

I agree...and I hope it is a change that is permanent and not forgotten....Americans tend to have a short memory.

Iraqi civilians fleeing fighting atop a truck smile and wave at British troops in a Basra neighborhood April 6, 2003. British forces launched a second thrust into the Iraqi city of Basra on Sunday, moving from the south to the edge of the old city after a drive in from the west earlier in the day, a spokesman said. Lance Corporal Richard Wally (R) from Alpha Company 40 Commando Royal Marines pastes posters, designed to inform local people about the activities of the U.S.-led forces, on walls in the Abu Al Khasib suburb of Basra in southern Iraq, April 6, 2003. U.S. troops have strong control of Baghdad airport and will expand from there in all directions, Jim Wilkinson, a spokesman for U.S. Commander General Tommy Franks, said on Sunday. Iraqi citizens pull down a statue of Sadam with the help of U.S. soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 70 Armor and 101st Airborne division in Kerbala, April 6, 2003. Moving block by block, U.S. troops pushed into the center of the holy Shi'ite Muslim city of Kerbala on Sunday after vicious battles with Iraqi paramilitaries threatening U.S supply lines north to Baghdad. You can bunker down, but you can hide!

Prying off the Presidential Seal

Imagine the music from “Apocalypse Now” playin on these choppers! (Without Martin Sheen on board.)

As if we haven’t seen enough of these:

Iraqi residents are voting for Bush!

We tend to forget this medium of the 'net is conversational. We don't spell check what we 'speak', as it sounds right.

And... if we were actually TALKING to someone, we would not correct their grammer to their face!

(Well..... MOST wouldn't!)
