We've already heard from Ollie tonight (on H&C). Last night, the embedds didn't start broadcasting 'till around 1am EST. I don't think.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if the houses Lara Lawson was whining about turn out to be the ones where Saddam was? Her last communique claimed that we were killing innocents.

They're showing the same footage on Fox & MSNBC--the same car buried in rubble, the same crater, the same rubble pile, the same people. I'd bet it was pool footage. Lora must've found a nearby crater for her to stand on for her 5 seconds or so of face time.

Freepers were monitoring the Bag Cams. You be the judge: I haven't done the research you have, but distinctly remember at least one post after the big firefight during that time, remarking that there had been a big boom and no one said anything about it -- that we no longer got excited about just a few... I don't remember the time.
There was so much going on all night ("here" time) that a few isolated booms, more or less, weren't going to ring a lot of bells...
Also, we don't know the location WRT the cams, do we? The "residential area" might have been far enough off that it was only a dull rumble (the BBs go off after penetration).
Keep hope alive :-).

Hey, it could have been a drive by bombing. Iraq is getting to be a dangerous place.

I'm getting confused here. If you worked on this technology, they why did we need Britain to give us the encryption codes so that we could decode it?
Rita said early on that Britain sold this to Saddam and told him the code could not be broken. Then recently gave the encryption code to us to see if we could decode it so that we could monitor his movements and voice over his communications.

Yep, then it's the Jaguar project I worked on for sure. If you're so good at codes and encryption, can you please tell me why my password always looks like this "******", no matter what I change it to? (Just wanted to lower your blood pressure for a minute with some levity).

Anybody know how many hours ahead Iraq time is from our time? For example, it's almost 10:30 central right now. What time is it in Baghdad?

"Someone finked on Saddam. My guess us that it was Baghdad Bob the Information Minister. "
I opined the same 2-3 nights ago.
