Mansoor saying this was the last meeting to plan their escape, someone sold them out, but no information as to whether he is actually dead.Nothing like learning your Dear Leader is about to hightail it for the border to make you get a bit disillusioned. If Saddam's not dead, he won't be alive for long now that his own inner circle is turning.

"Confident" does sound good.
Rummy appears to have verified that Chemical Ali is dead from a earlier press conference he made.

I know, but WOW, this is crazy that I worked on this Technology........... A couple months ago, something happened that was major in the news, and it referenced work I had been very involved in....I know how you feel.

The film of the bombing that Shep played is the same one we saw last night about 2-3 AM Baghdad time.

That really is very cool that you worked on that system. Thank you.

Howlin, that sounds like something out of the Godfather! Saddam sleeps with the fishes.

Mansour Ijaz: his intel source says this was a meeting in which Saddam & his sons & cronies were having a "get out of town" meeting because they didn't think they'd last more than one more day/night. Someone ratted them out and BOOM. So he's dead and a chicken s**t trying to boogie out of town

I worked on the Engineering of the build process, I have no knowledge of the usage.
It's that way for most all of the projects. For the planes like Wild Weasel, F-15, etc. I was told I worked on the Guidance systems.

Fox - The boming was of the Al Masa restaurant on Monsour St. It is located in a commercial area, not residential. This according to a retired General on Fox.

Richard's gonna wake up in an hour or so. Wander up to the roof, stick that thing in his ear, and call Liz.
Richard: Can you hear me? Can you hear me? 3-2-1
Liz: I hear you, allready!
Richard: Any news overnight?

That's the shot I saw earlier with Bazooka Lora. I recognized the shirtless guy with the black pant with the wide red stripe (perhaps a firefighter) on the top of the rubble pile & the backhoe.

this is crazy that I worked on this Technology...... It's cool. You worked on packaging the technology. Imagine the thrill of the folks who dropped the bomb. Who loaded the bomb, who built it, etc. This is a big team effort, and many of us are part of it.

I didn't know Joe was a good guy. I rarely watch PMSNBC and when I saw him it struck me how much his mannerisms resembled those of Bill O'Rielly. I thought he was a ratings copy-cat. Thanks to all who gave the heads up!I don't know about Joe's mannerisms, but his program is a blatant copy - really embarrassingly so - of The O'Reilly Factor, right down to the graphics.

50 -60 people at a meeting with Saddam:
Like those numbers 'cause they said at one time as that's around the number of people who guard Saddam personally.
Those numbers also would fit into the "crowd" that surrounded Saddam in his streetwalk. The "crowd" very possibly were guards in civilian clothing. One report said that video of the streetwalk was the same general area of where this attack on the residence/restaurant was.
