msnbc airing a report of a BBC reporter cruising through baghdad towards one of the palaces that we occupy. a gang of thugs in the street represent "security" for that sector, they are firing their AK47s into the air. they are interviewed, all of them sound like idiots. but you get an errie sense that the city had essentially been abandoned by the regime.
