It was on our radio news station, KOMO AM 1000. I think it's either ABC or CNN radio news (go figure.) If it's not, I'll correct myself. Moroons.

..Egyptian television... Who are the governments giving aid to Saddam? Rumsfeld- there are two things that happened, one is where countries that have supplied Iraq w/military capabilities that we wish he didn't have, Such as Syria, that was one .... second is a little more nebulous, our goal was not to have a war, that is why Pres Bush went out of his way to give warnings...we would be all better off the sooner it was over the better. .. other countries were giving encouragement for cease fire... discouraging the people from rising up against Saddam...

The Boston Globe:

Rumsfeld has prodded the military for decades to be quicker and smarter, and the battle plan for Iraq is more than just a tactical blueprint: It's the fulfillment of his vision for the balancing of troops and high-tech weapons.

Rumsfeld has nurtured them for decades, from his tenure as the nation's youngest defense secretary in 1975 and 1976, through years on advisory panels, to his return engagement as the oldest defense secretary.

I agree--we could tape the Big Snap, then run it & rerun it on an endless loop.

Gen Meyers... no evidence that WMDs have been moved to another country....

Is anyone in US gov being held accountable for bombs being dropped in error, Gen Meyers, central command is taking care of this... if they determine that it was done accidentally.... we are waiting for all the facts.. every circumstance is different, we have to go through the investigation, we will find out if someone needs to be held accountable.... they are ongoing, unaware of any decisions being made at this time...

CNN - There are 2 bunkers. One was tested with the Fox chemical recon vehicle and came back negative. The other, tested with the Fox, came back positive for both blister and nerve agents. More tests will be undertaken.

I think the excitement and anti-climax of all these WMD reports are kind of like the first reports of exit polls in November when you started to get the feeling that - whoa - that's great - but are tense ... after hours of such reports eventually a graceful realization descends on you that this much bigger and better than you had hoped for and that history is being written in stone before your eyes - and it's not the kind of history the NYT, CNN, or the Democrats are going to like living with.

Darn, the last question is "when do you declare victory?"

Of course, the democrats want to declare victory so they can get on their talking points of why this war wasn't necessary but Bush screwed up the diplomacy. (Also, they desperately want to whine about the economy.)
