While questions lingered, including when the video was made, the effect on Mr. Hussein's most zealous loyalists was beyond doubt. At the Palestine Hotel, the mood among Iraqi officials brightened.
The mood on Network TeeVee and the cable nets (except Fox) also seem to be brighter once the news readers had convinced themselves that the great Saddam was indead still alive and there was still a chance of a crushing American defeat.
The left stream press coverage has generally been disgraceful (except for the embeddeds). The news readers and producers just can't stomach the thought of an American victory (at least with a Republican President in charge).
Look for him to become the new DNC chairman after the war.LOL... Baghdad Bob seems to have a perfect resume for the job.

Yes, if he wants to live. Don't let his "New York Times" affiliation fool you. I have listened to many reports from Baghdad by Burns, and he is on our side. He is one of the good guys.

I would like to see "Baghdad Bob" captured, handcuffed behind his back with those nylon ties, and brought into a room with a table and a chair, which faces camera's of every news organization wishing to attend, ESPECIALLY the new FREE IRAQI TV.
When he is seated at the table, he will notice there are VHS video tapes, which are stacked on a platter.Each tape contains one of "Baghdad Bob's" news conferences, one tape for each of his appearances since the "war" started, from the first one to the last. To the right of the platter will be the picture of Saddam that hung behind him while he gave his daily "speeches".It will be in a holder so the picture is facing him and well within his sight, but not blocking the cameras.
He would then be introduced to the attending "press".Since "Baghdad Bob" probably will not have any major war crimes to convict him with, he will be told that since his big, strong, loud, mouth was his "weapon", he will then be told that his hands will not be needed for his punishment. He will use his big strong mouth, to open and consume the contents of EVERY VHS cartridge on the platter in front of him.A beverage will be provided after a tape is opened, and TOTALLY consumed.
When all the tape cartridges are empty, the last thing he has to accomplish, to gain TOTAL amnesty , before he leaves the table, is to consume the contents of the picture frame. His hands can be used for this last objective.
If "Baghdad Bob" completes those tasks, it will then be announced to the Iraqi TV watchers, that "Baghdad Bob" is now a free man and is now being released.
The cameras will "follow" him as he is "escorted" from the place where this is held, and "deposited" into the now "free-from-Saddam" streets of the newly freed Iraqi people, with the address of his "return to society" scrolling (with updates from the cameras following him),until he is once again at his home, and tucked into his bed after his "busy" day....
