I'd much rather have the US be aggressively proactive regarding security than to rely on the hand wringing, meaningless "support" of the Axis of Weasels.

The first can keep us secure, the second is just a joke.

The Reason Why

by George McGovern

That's as far as I have to read. To go any further is not necessary.

That's the first thing I thought too. I figured if he was still alive and since he's such a pillar of integrity that we'd have heard him make similar comments about bubba.

I didn't know he served in the military. Despite his slanted screed, that alone (serving) raises him up a rung or two in my book.

South Dakota? Are you kidding me, who care's about South Dakota. It's really cold there all the time, right? They have like 5 minutes of summer, right? Is it near Minnesota? Is it warmer than North Dakota? SOUTH DAKOTA!!!!! Gimme a break.

Bet you wouldn't go here and say that.

South Dakota is home to not only Mount Rushmore, and Little Big Horn but also the World Famous Wall Drug Store.

Back in '77, when we lived in Casper, Wy, we would go to South Dakota for fun.

Thanks to the most crudely partisan decision in the history of the Supreme Court

Just a very brief retort to this tired statement of poorly-concealed hate from the left: EVERY trial court, that is, the courts who examined actual evidence, most of which were run by democrat judges, ruled for BUSH in the 2000 Florida election cases. Every one. ONLY the Florida Supreme Court found for Gore, on repeated occasions. Enough already.

Little Bighorn? So where's Big Horn? Stoned dead presidents? Oh yeah you're right, I wouldn't go there and say anything. I wouldn't go there ever for anything, wait, oh yeah there's no reason to go there. Wyoming? Did you say Wyoming? Or was that Montana? I guess if you lived in Wyoming or Montana you would think it's fun to go to South Dakota. Wow, I've only ever read about folks like you, do you have a bandana? Did they make it so there's no speed limit yet so you can get through that crap as quick as possible yet? Do you have a vehicle in yer yard that don't run but yer werkin' on it? How bout little E yesterday? Do ya watch the NASCAR?

George McGovern in '04!

This is about the only guy who could make the Democrats look worse than Al Sharpton...

Dad just alerted me to this article-

There's actually a second page you didn't post here that includes praise for the "great leader" Ho Chi Minh. I managed to gag my way through most of the article. But at this point, I ran screaming from the room.

McGovern is a delusional communist. Nothing worthwhile to read here.

Let me note that the son of South Dakota Senator Tim Johnson is now on duty in the Persian Gulf. He did not use his obvious political connections to avoid military service, nor did his father seek exemptions for his son.

Sgt. Hulka: Son, there ain't no draft no more.
