I am surprised that no one has started up a fund to award this brave family. If no such fund is started, our military or Congress should provide some type of reward.

I'm assuming that Atty General Ashcroft's offer of a green card for any Muslim coming forward with valuable information against terrorism would apply to this case.

Nah! They're too busy jumping on the "Jessica Lynch Instant Celebrity Train" to notice the real heroes of this incident. I am proud of PFV Lynch's service, happy she's been rescued, and wish her a full recovery. But I will not join in the remaking of her as the second coming of Diana, the Goddess of War, or something similar.
