Why was such a fuss made about the helicopter with those so-called farmers shooting into the river. It is because they were following one of their scripts. Remember,they are lousy at war but follow the rats in their propaganda,and manipulation of the media.

No one witnessed the farmer shoot down anything...
Make a bunch of tapes with different scenarios (farmer, glorious soldier, women with rocks).
Wait until a helicopter goes down.
Announce a farmer did it.
Play the tape.
These guys are masters of disinformation and hyperbole.

What I noticed most was "generic" references:
Resistance in all our "other cities". It would have been more inspirational and effective to name the cities! (He doesn't know the names?)

They helicopters were brought down by RPGs that had a slight modification to allow for firing at an air target, and used tactics thought to be taught by al Quada.

It is left to people with a modicum of common sense to interpret a larger context when it is obvious beyond absurdity.
