Oldie but goodie
During the Gulf War, Arnett covered Desert Storm for CNN from Baghdad, where Saddam gave him unprecedented assistance to make his reports, all of which turned out to be pro-Saddam in one way or another, the New Australian recalled.
After Saddam's defeat, Arnett regularly visited Iraq and was given extensive access to officials denied other reporters. Fellow journalists called him "Baghdad Pete."
If he cons his way back to Baghdad, he can expect to be welcomed back by his buddy Saddam with open arms.

Mr. "Baby Milk Factory" is at it again.
He looks like a middle-aged crazy man with that dyed black receding hair line.
What has he been doing the last 12 years? I mean besides getting cootier?

"I wish you could have seen his smug face taking credit for opposition to the war."
I would like to see his smug face on a FBI poster on the bulletin board at the post office.

To National Geographic:
You're reporter's treachery will prove you complicit, if you continue to retain him on your payroll. The dishonest, clintoneque spinning that MSNBC is airing regarding his treacherous comments during time of war need not be compounded by National Geographic continuing to support this man. His smarmy comments to give aid and encouragement to the enemy have the real potential to cause increased casualties among our Soldiers fighting in Iraq. Is that what National Geographic endorses? Hey Arnett can you hear that....... it is the whistling sound of a BOMB. Gen Tommy Franks, "it seems one of our bombs landed a little off, sadly it seemed to hit the room where Peter Arnett happened to be staying. We are sorry for this accident (snicker) we will have to re-calibrate some of our bombs." I can dream can't I ? hehehehe

No. no no no. I cannot emphasize this enough. Do not ever waste your time calling main network switchboards, unless you're prepared to say, "So-and-So's office, please." Likewise, do not ever waste your time emailing generic dump boxes like "viewerservices@nbc.com", "dateline@nbc.com" etc. Always - ALWAYS - call and email specific human beings who you know for a fact have some level of responsibility for the topic at hand. In this case, emails and/or phone calls to Neil.Shapiro@nbc.com and Erik.Sorenson@nbc.com would be appropriate (both are in charge on MSNBC TV).

Gibson just pointed out that the ministry of truth building was hit shortly after Arnett's interview. He says there was probably no connection. I wonder if there was a message there.

Are any of the other media outlets covering this?....You would think that NBC/MSNBC/CNBC would have had this as an exclusive early today. Peter's "professional curtesy" should have been the big story for them. Instead it seems like Fox is the only one to be on it.
