American Companies that run ads on Al-Jazeerah
Posted on 03/28/2003 9:01:11 PM PST by mrs fat city
Last night on O'Reilly, he mentioned that a number of U.S. companies have ads running on Al-Jazeerah. O'Reilly said he is going to look into it. Does anyone have any info on this? I want to make sure that I absolutely do not buy ANYTHING from any of them.

give al jazeera a break ... they aren't that bad ... they're even pro-u.s. by arab standards ... not that these standards are up to our own ... but they can't please both america and the arab world

Yes, I did...now, but I come here to get info, not to surf. I didn't find the info at O'Riley's site. Where is it?

I do not particularly like Al Jezeera either, but I would not want them shut down.
They have proven to be a useful tool.

I just checked, O'Reilly does not have anything yet, still looking.

I don;t want Al-Jazeera shut down either, but I don't want American companies sponsoring it either.
It's like buying time on the Tokyo Rose Hour.

We seem to agree.
That is a rare thing in my life lately.
I tend to be disagreeable.
