I've been forgetting to pray for the troops lately. Must remember.

What's SOP here for the next guys in line? Throw in a frag or get out and try it another way?
If they throw in a frag, at this point are they worried about civilians? I would think not

Something interesting happened last night. O'Reilly accused one of his guests of indifference to the plight of U.S. soldiers. O'Reilly then said (paraphrased) "I think I've figured you out, you don't want the US to win! I DO! I want to win!"
I then realized that you'd never get Peter Jennings to say that.

It's very difficult to wage an attack against an ensconced defender. That's why if you have an intruder in your home, you should stay put and defend from that position. If you decide to search for the intruder, your odds of survial drop dramatically. Remember the Alamo. Roughly 200 men held off an army of 5000 soliders for days. Same thing applies here, the only way for soldiers and cops for that matter to confront an ensconced defender is with a multi person trained entry team. Having a single soldier doing a house to house search for an armed enemy is a 50/50 chance at the very best odds, but in reality the single soldiers odds are far less than that.
