I actually believe some movies can be artistic, maybe not in a prissy sort of way. I am sorry guys, but I believe in the conservative cause and enjoy a movie every now and then.

Oh, sure. A lot of great movies have been made. But not an awful lot of them recently. What are the big winners this year? Bowling for Columbine? Chicago? The Pianist? I have no desire to see any of them.

I am a LOTR fan, although I was disappointed in the treatment of Faramir and Theoden. Gimli too, for that matter.

I've just been watching the first of Hiroshi Inagaki's Samurai trilogy this evening. Now there's a great movie. Most of the stuff coming out of Holiwood these days is pretty worthless.
