Good night, Billie.
Again, your presentation was awesome, and I bookmarked it to review.

Suppose it's time for me to wind down, and hand the night to those of you farther west....another fine day at the Finest.

I have been to the Smith House and it was so much fun and the food was great too. It is, as you know, family-style....Everyone sits at big round tables with people you often don't know, unless you come with a party of 12 or more, lol. And they just keep bringing the food, platters of fried chicken, bowls of mashed potatoes and all those wonderful Southern sides. Then you go shopping in Dahlonega to hopefully walk off some of those calories.

"On any given Sunday thousands of local tourists head for the mountains of North Georgia, and if Dahlonega is anywhere near their destination, you can be assured that the Smith House is on their itinerary. Tourists have been eating here since the Smith's bought the home from Captain Frank Hall almost 80 years ago."

"The cooking is southern and service is family-style in the basement of the Hall's former home(and the nearest place to the vein of gold). The southern fried chicken is crisp on the outside and still juicy inside. Vegetables are a highlight, but the mashed potatoes fall a little short."

Way to go Nan....Look forward to hearing more about your rally as the plans develop......

I want to thank every single soldier and every single person who will put their own life in jeopardy to fight for the freedom that I have, until recently, taken too much for granted. My thoughts and prayers are with the soldiers and the families of these brave and strong Americans.

I do...thank you for the pic...my sky looked a little like that today.

About the World's sky, I have had to squint to see the Silver Lining in the dark clouds today, but it is surely there...

Yes, that's right I remember now it's sitting on a vein of gold...guess that's why they had to keep the food so tasty...to keep those miners from demolishing the place to get at the gold. :)

Good night!
