What a joke that we have to be so civilized as to accord rights to this guy.

"Outside the charred and blood-splattered tents Sunday afternoon, soldiers recalled hearing the suspect say as he was being led away by armed soldiers: "You guys are coming into our countries and you're going to rape our women and kill our children."? LA Times

Perhaps the inabaility to see the obvious speaks to why the Army could not prevent this.

I will email the LA Times article to Rummsfield maybe that will help them.

This Muslim's mother said he was not allowed to serve in the first Gulf war, because of his religion, but the army let down it's guard, and look at what has happened. The Army knew better, no wonder they try to hide the fact that he is Muslim, and it does not look like he is a brand new convert either. His mother had the Muslim name, but they used to have another name, "Kools". She now calls herself
"Quran Bilal".

I am sure that it is a coincidence that he is a Muslim American, and that the snipers in DC were Muslim. Further, I am sure it is a coincidence that Muslim FBI agents will not secretly tape other Muslims in terrorism investigations. And it is a coincidence that Muslim's who raise funds for terrorists are allowed into the White House to meet with the President.

Just because we can list in every service vital to the security of this country Muslims who are willing to abdicate their sworn responsibilities as soldiers and civil servants in favor of their religion doesn't mean that we are being set up as fools by an ideolgy that has as one of it's central precepts the intentional deception of non-believers.

But Army spokesman George Heath says the attack that left one dead and 15 wounded hasn't been linked to Akbar's Islamic faith. And he says the attack won't lead to other Muslims being barred from serving in the U-S military.

Well, that ought to irritate FR's Olympic Conclusion-Leaping Team, as well as our resident Crusaders...

When, oh when, will everyone realize that islam is not a legitimate religion? That it is, in fact, a big Lie created by Satan for the express purpose of opposing and eradicating Judeo-Christianity?

The whole thing stinks. First they suspect that it was an islamic terrorist. Then they find a homegrown islamic terrorist did it but somehow the guy is suddenly not a terrorist. No, this guy is suddenly just a lone nut that had been acting strange recently.

How many other Muslim wackos are in our military that we need to worry about. Are these Black Muslim American's followers of Farrakhan. If so, what the he** are they doing in our military.

Sweeping this under the rug will do nothing to save the lives of other American heroes.

Let's see we have a soldier named Akbar, he is a Muslim, we are fighting Muslims.

Sgt. Akbar has been acting really weird lately, I don't think we can trust him to march into Iraq with us.

What do we do with him? I know, we put him in charge of guarding the hand grenades. Just so Sgt Akbar can retain some of his self esteem.

attack of political correctness.

You will never convince me that this guy was resentful becuase his commanders refused to send him to the front lines.

I will never believe that he did this for any other reason than what it boils down to. His newly found faith in Islam!

If your in the "trenches" and your name is Akbar, or Abdul etc. it might be prudent to change your name tag to just plain "Bob", maybe.

I'm glad to read that the army isn't connecting Islam with this man's murdering acts. In fact, when a person decides to step outside humanity and murder, he will use whatever excuse is handy. He willfully chooses evil and can give it any name at all. But he must be held accountable for it. This killer MUST lose his life, and soon.

This is a brilliant move.

There are those that would love for this to devolve into an argument wherein this man's Muslim religion moves to center stage.

By steadfastly maintaining that this was a "disgruntled" soldier, who attempted to frag some officers, the case can stand on its, more simple, more easy to establish motives.

"The guy was disgruntled He fragged some officers. In a war zone. He killed one. He wounded others. Guilty as charged. Sentence? Death!"

Force the defense attorney to interject the "Religion of Peace" into this trial. Let the defense make the case that the "Religion of Peace" was both a substantive motivation for the acts, and exculpitory, at the same time.

It would be interesting to watch those semantic gymnastics in operation.

Army isn't linking grenade attack to soldier's Muslim religion

Well, if the Army won't do it, that means the govt won't either. And that is a guarantee that the lamestream won't keep the connection in print. And so it falls on 'we, the people' to keep this in the public consciousness. How MANY terrorist attacks have been committed over the years, in the name of this cult of murder?

We have not declared a war on the 'religion' of islam. They have brought THEIR war of islam to US.

Now, I have to 'run off' and take care of some old folks. Will be back. (if I'm not banned by then)

shame on this country that lets PC kill americans. Either the President gets Muslims out of the military now or there will be more deaths by these freaks. Not to mention get them out of the govt too. (muslims are trying to take over from within)

The Army has a problem ...
The Army is purposely ignoring the problem...
The problem will get worse.

To borrow an appropriate Dickens line, in this instance...

"Heath says an Islamic chaplain is assigned to the 101st Airborne Division in Kuwait. And he says Akbar is being allowed to say his Muslim daily prayers while he's in custody. No charges have been filed yet. "

If they don't think his muslim "faith" motivated, then just what did? It's been a few days now. Surely he stated WHY he intentionally murdered and wounded his colleagues.

Shhhh ... I bet it IS his muslim faith that motivated him but of course we can't say that hence the silence and confusion on what to do.

It was the Army's political correctness that allowed this gug to get into the army, then to stay in the Army, then to be shipped out to kill his Moslem brothers.

This guy should never have been sent overseas. Now the Army is maintaining its political correctness by denying that this guy's religion had anything to do with his murderous actions. Incredible.
