Still a big threat that Iraq will unleash nerve agents in Baghdad civilian areas, hoping the world condemns us for "provoking" the massacre.

I hope they kept a few to show to Blixie, along with the Made In France labels.

Just in case anyone wonders why we didn't give the UN inspectors more intelligence --

**An Arab official familiar with the war operations said Saturday that "getting these command centers was one of the bigger events of the war," because it was from them, rather than Baghdad, that the coalition expected instructions to emanate to start an unconventional counterattack.**
Salute!

Iraq claims to capture 20 US Commandos Captured While Landing in Baghdad. Is this likely a lie? Haven't heard it.
This is a web site from China?
Russia has been full of all kinds of BS propaganda since his started.
Be careful believing the anti-American counties. Could be true, but nothing here yet.

Stunning news! Even with the information overload from FR, the Internet and TV, I'm sure there is 100 times as much military activity we know nothing about... we may never know all that was done in this war!
To: TenthAmendmentChampion
Amen to that. Especially special ops activity...what heroes.

Gee, didn't Dr. Blix and the UN inspectors as well as the French and Germans tell us there weren't any of these nasty things in Iraq? I thought the inspections got them all found. Surprise surprise! </sarcasm>

The White House would not have gone with their assertions of Iraq still having WMD's if they did not have intel to that effect. I'm glad they used that intel to its best use, i.e., wiping out the threat.

In the opening hours of the war against Iraq, U.S. and Australian forces flew deep into the country and seized or destroyed specific command posts to prevent officers there from ordering the use of chemical and biological weapons, according to officials of the coalition forces. Strategic strike. This is what they do and will be fascinating to read about well after Iraq is free of Saddam and the WMD systems are all unshrouded and destroyed.
