I have 2 words: "Summary Courtmartial".

For an offense like this ... General Court Martial

I'd just give him to the other soldiers for target practice or perhaps demonstration of napalm on human skin trials.

In certain Far Eastern locales, a method of execution was to take a length of bamboo long enough to reach from the person's foot to his navel. You sharpen one end, insert into rectum, place other end into hole in ground, attach subjects feet to stakes on either side.

You then see how long he can stand up.

A quick review of the UCMJ seems to indicate death is appropriate:

894. ART. 94. MUTINY OR SEDITION
(a) Any person subject to this chapter who--
(1) with intent to usurp or override lawful military authority, refuses, in concert with any other person, to obey orders or otherwise do his duty or creates any violence or disturbance is guilty of mutiny;

(3) fails to do his utmost to prevent and suppress a mutiny or sedition being committed in his presence, or fails to take all reasonable means to inform his superior commissioned officer or commanding officer of a mutiny or sedition which he knows or has reason to believe is taking place, is guilty of a failure to suppress or report a mutiny or sedition.
