I'm not anti-Bloomberg, and was only a visitor to NYC, but it seems like Rudy wouldn't have put up with this crap.

Having pondered this question I have concluded the reason is because all the old hippies thought the issue was dead and buried. The issue of war was setteled in the 70's. there would be no more war!

And then this happens. Everything they stand for is proven wrong, wrong, wrong and they can't stand to be wrong. The same operational phenomenon as with Clinton. They couldn't possibly be wrong.

Sad to say, many are NYC residents. Let's also not forget that our City Council passed a resolution condemning the war.

From what I saw today when I got out of the Subway, a disproportionate amount of the protesters were 1. White, 2. Well Scrubbed and 3. College Students from NYU, Columbia and other schools.
