I got so tired of responding to an open offer, "That sure sounds good but I'm married with two small children." I don't know what the fantasy with workmen in the home is but I've heard the same stories from plumbers, painters, electricians, etc..

Not for women. I was responding to a poster who said women who stayed at home lacked opportunity. OK. Yes, I have a friend who's in construction/maintenence and he has lots of stories about women coming on to him as he's doing work in apartment buildings. Women at home have the added advantage that they don't have to account for how they spent their day

The better link:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/2369357.stm I love how this article starts out. Seems like karma was coming around when the lady cheated to get a "healthy stronger" child, who actually ends up having CF. We had a scare about this with our youngest and it is a nasty, vile disease. I certainly wouldn't wish it on that poor child but mom kind of got her just desserts. The sins of the (mother in this instance) will be visited upon the children. If she had only stayed home where she belonged.

I agree with this. Women and men have sex for different reasons, as we all know. You'll never hear a woman say, "He meant nothing, dear." It's true.

Thanks...indeed CF is horrible...it killed a friend of mine's 9 year old boy....
Not much worse a parent or child could endure in my view...

CF is one of the cruelest conditions I could imagine - a kidwho knows the chances of making it much into their 20s are slim, the constant treatment and pain. Awful stuff.

My buddy tells me you haven't lived thru human suffering till you've "drained" your dying CF child of all that mucous hour after hour.
Man it breaks my heart to recall what they all went thru. The Mom still cannot talk about it 10 years later with out breaking down. My friend...he is pretty bitter about it.
He's a good fellow...one of my closest business pals but he's a little odd about the two babies I now have...I know it makes him uneasy and I completely understand.

" Deviant immoral libertarians and democrats have no right to destroy the moral fabric of society as a whole." What? Are Republicans saints?
Sin is sin and God will punish sinners in his own time. The trouble with making some sins a crime is the level of government (read LEO) intrusion into private lives to enforce such laws. If my neighbor is committing adultery with my other neighbor, they can both burn in Hell, but I don't want John Law snooping into my bedroom to find out what I'm doing.

What with the war & all, I haven't got time to read through 100+ posts, so I apologize if it has already been pointed out that the headline for this article is incorrect. In fact, the title reads:
Women are more likely to cheat for sex than before, finds report.
The article then begins:
Women are more likely to cheat on their men to gain sexual satisfaction because of their growing assertiveness and their equality in the workplace, say marriage counselors.
It is only later in the article that they mention the stats showing men are still way ahead of women in cheating. As I recall, the stat was 44% men, 25% women, cheat. That's not exactly what the title here on FR would lead one to believe.
