How the heck did Alabama even get in? After that late-season collapse, ending with getting owned by Vanderbilt in the SEC tourney, they do NOT deserve to be in the NCAAs.

Apparently the "how did you do late in the season" factor, that was said to be such a determination in past years, didn't materialize this year. Memphis, for example, fell to a 7th seed despite winning 11 in a row prior to their narrow loss to Louisville, a 4th seed.

I guess it was their 1-7 road record in the SEC that convinced the poohbahs to let them in. /sarcasm

Maybe it was victories against Oklahoma, Xavier, Miss St., LSU, Auburn, all tourney teams. Remember, the committee takes the entire season into account, not just the conference tourneys.
