On a recent Dixie Chicks special on CMT, either Martie or her sister said the original Dixie Chicks had performed at events for Texas Governor Bush on more than a few occasions.

Must be before Natalie Mains joined them...they were asked to sing for the 2000 inaugural festivities, and they declined on account they were democrats and had supported Al Gore.

I had it with them when Natalie described Toby Keith's song Courtesy as ignorant...he's the only country singer who's CD's I've ever bought.
