I'm writing today as I've just learned about the Dixie Chicks on-stage words last Saturday night in England. The quote is ' "Just so you know," says singer Natalie Maines, "we're ashamed the president of the United States is from Texas." ' Well, I am now ashamed the Dixie Chicks are from America, sing Country ... I think you get the drift.
Just looking at your web site, I can guess this doesn't fit in well with your programming or your audience. While I can understand it might not be possible for your station to completely stop playing music by the Dixie Chicks, please understand that I can stop listening to the radio at the push of a button and it might be a good 75 minutes or so before the CD finishes playing or I realize I've switched off my favorite station. Just so you know.
