Forget the Dixie Chicks. Buy your CDs from Charlie Daniels

Must be before Natalie Mains joined them...

Yeah, the sisters were never political. Before they met up with Natalie, they thought anyone who got a tatoo smacked of being 'white trash'.

Hey Alberta, Great profile page, just about the nicest one I've seen.

I love his song, "I Outgrew the Wagon"
I've worked around the T Lazy S "out Battle Mountain way" and even BS'd with Darryl Munson at Cowboy Poetry in Elko once.

I can see it now. Everytime one of these liberal USA bashing entertainers returns home they are greeted at the airport with protest signs telling them to 'whatever'. I'll go to one when it's close by.

How about a huge placard with a size 24 blue "Monica Special" dress tacked onto it - labeled - "Just For You, Natalie."

Thanks!

In Longview last October he played renditions of "Fifty Years Ago" and "The Gift" that were quite amazing.

"we're ashamed the president of the United States is from Texas"
"The anti-American sentiment that has unfolded here is astounding.

Thanks, gals, for helping the sentiment to flourish.

I'm ashamed the Dixie Chicks are from Texas.

They have got to be kidding. Do they think it is the unwashed peace protestniks who provide their record sales?

I always thought they were rather plain and homely.

And their music is only so-so.

Maines said the Dixie Chicks, up for four awards, will probably give the crowd the peace sign when they take the stage to perform Landslide.
"Just something small. We don't want to get preachy on a show like that," she said.

I don't have a problem with this statement and I wouldn't have a problem if they did flash the peace sign. It's still America and they're entitled to their opinion. But trashing the President in a freign country is something altogether different and I resent that a great deal.

I don't think that's what that song is about. It's about young love and the reality of war. It's a beautiful song.

My wife likes the Dixie Shits ... I'm ambivalent. Having read the latest ... all their CD's in this home/auto etc., are gone ... in the trash gone. My wife throws out my stuff all the time ... I'm throwing out the Dixie Shits! Know what ... my wife agrees!

The Dixie Chicks Sold out here in San Diego in like an hour. I'm curious to see their reception in America's military town.

My favorite song was, "Tonight, the heartaches on me". How true.....! The CD, just went out with the trash. I will have to awaken early tomorrow, curious as to what Imus will say about them.

Hey Chix! Can you say Ouch? This should really cut into your conservative demographics, which should translate into hundreds of thousands of dollars of lost sales revenue. Remember, when you can't say anything nice- zip it! We don't care about your liberal politics unless YOU make it an issue. Big mistake!
