Maybe somebody more knowledgeable can correct me, but I don't think Djindjik was one of the good guys. He "cooperated" with clinton in betraying the Serbs to advance his own political career. That doesn't make him "pro western" in my view, although the west today is unfortunately rife with socialism and decay and a kind of death-wish. There's speculation in a thread above that his death may be connected with a Kostunica scandal or pseudo-scandal that is presently emerging.

But Kostunica strikes me as the good guy, if you have to choose between the two. Djindjik lived by the sword and now apparently has died by the sword, so to speak.
