But that is the basic anti-WOD mantra. Legalize all drugs.

*sigh* You seem to think that those who oppose the War on Drugs must march in lockstep agreeing with each other on every single issue. This is certainly not the case.

Let's take MrLeroy for example. Nice guy, I enjoy reading his opinions and communicating with him, but our feeling on drug legalization are quite different. He believes all drugs should be legalized (and provides valid arguments for his views). I do not believe all drugs should be legalized, and I hope I provide valid arguments for my views. No offence to MrLeroy, but I would suspect a majority of anti-WOD FReepers would side closer with my opinion on this than his. Just a suspicion.

And the one central theme of your posts is the *WOD pings.

Usually other people bump the *wod list before I get to the article. You are probably mistaking that with my list of FR screen names I bump for WOD-related articles.

Allow me to explain this list. Myself and a few other FReepers inherited this list around last summer when the person originally maintaining it got banned. My intent is not for this list to be for solely anti-WOD FReepers or anti-WOD articles. There are many FReepers who support the WOD on the list including but not limited to: Dane, Cultural Jihad, Roscoe, A2J, and others. If you'd notice, I also ping the list to anti-drug articles, including one today about the dangers of methamphetamines. You're more than welcome to get onto WOD list if you'd like. Just let me know.

Agreed. My wife just came home for lunch and I my attention was distracted. However, you must realize that by being anti-WOD you are anti-suppression of hard drugs in society. If your position were only to legalize pot, then that should be your position.

Yes, and that couldn't be further from the truth.

I'm not bashfull about my position, as I have stated it frequently.

I reject the notion that any level of government has the legitimate power to determine what individuals can ingest into their bodies, for accepting such a notion directly implies we are owned by government, and that governement has the untilmate say in the disposition of our lives. I argue that individual States(not cities, not counties, not "communities") have a legitimate power to regulate public use or sale of substances. The power to regulate does not include the power to prohibit possession or transportation, or the private use, manufacture or sale of such substances.

Others who are anti-WOD disagree. That's fine for now, as long as the common goal is to end the federal WOsD.

And my fight has been primarily with him and couple of others of the same ilk. Primarily since he starts so many "pro-drug" threads. You chose to pick up against me. I do not have time to research everyone before I reply to them since MrLeRoy and friends (*WOD) keep me quite busy. When one jumps on me out of nowhere and is anti-WoD, I lump him with MrLeRoy until I am told otherwise.

None taken. I wouldn't be surprised if you're right.

He and his kind are hurting your ability to discuss the issue as his antics keep the thread relegated to the smokey backroom.
