Good! That's the YAF I remember and of which I am proud to have been a member for several years and a state Board member for a couple of years. This is the kind of spirit we had when I was in YAF. Glad to see them showing this kind of spunk.

Fill an empty bottle with swamp water and slap that "Vin Francais" label on it.

Better yet, pee in the bottle, tell everybody it's a French white wine (hey, not much difference), tehn dump it on a French flag -- in front of the Embassy.

At one of our conventions, we once burned a Soviet flag in front of the hotel. But not before we "laid out the red carpet" and trampled all over the thing.

It is true that YAF handed out wire coat hangers at a Pro-
Abortion rally? LOL

Hmmm. Doesn't the wine have to be purchased before it's dumped? By purchasing the wine, the French economy is boosted.

Supply and demand, Chad. If you purchase the french wine from your local liquor store or market the stores will see the need to replenish their stock. Their stock comes from France.

Goodness.....

When I ran a YAF chapter we strongly disbelieved in abusing alcohol. >:o

There are about 10,000 graves in France of American soldiers who died to free them from the jackboots of the Nazis. I think a $10,000 "fine for forgetting" would be appropriate to place on France in memory of that sacrifice.

Multiply 10,000 times 10,000 and you get $1 billion. Therefore, I think the goal of the boycott of French goods and services should be to extract $1 billion from their hides for what they are now doing.

Fair's fair. And if the French don't like it, a French phrase can be applied in reply, "C'est la guerre."

Here's one of the signs in French that should be used:

M. Chirac:
Baissez mon cul.

That translates as "Mr. Chicac: Kiss my *ss."

Glad I could be of service.

I live in Santa Monica & the wine store I go to on a regular basis said that they are getting people boycotting French wine as well as those buying it just because others are boycotting it. You have the appeasers buying French wine and the liberators avoiding it.

Personally, I have never really liked many French wines...but I do like Vueve Cliquot.

Also, the guy who orders the wine told me that many of the French wineries are not even owned by the French.

California wine is not "produced by illegals". The immigrants (legal & illegal) work as grape pickers.

With all due respect, this protest is non-sensical. The LAST thing you should be doing is purchasing French wine. Nice gesture, but wrong approach. Have someone print out computer generated faux French wine labels and attach them to American wine bottles. The rest of the country is BOYCOTTING French products, please don't purchase them.
