Would love to see a clip of audience reaction as she takes the stage.
It would be interesting to see, but I doubt it will be televised. OTOH with the popularity of Dale, it just might be picked up.

We can only do so much.
*Sigh*, I suppose so...

I actually have no respect for the Liberal Arts (well, not what they have become, anyway).

Huh? He didn't offer his political sentiments unless there is an article I missed. He only wanted to say that he supports our President and he chose his own way to do so.
And in this time and leftist media driven society that wants to squelch this type of freedom of speech and freedom of expression, I for one am glad to hear it, see it and support it. So now let's go be consistent...

Paul Erdõs used to talk about "book proofs". These, he explained, were the most beautiful and elegant proofs, which would be written in God's book in heaven.
Someone drew a cartoon which depicted Erdõs in heaven, reading "The Book". He had a frustrated look on his face and the next panel showed why. Every page had:
Theorem 1.
Proof: Trivial.
Theorem 2.
Proof: Trivial.
Theorem 3.
Proof: Obvious.

My calculus text (Abraham Schwartz) had two favorite phrases:
"It is intuitively obvious that..." and
"The proof is left to the reader as an exercise..."
To: null and void
Translation:
"It is intuitively obvious that..."
I forget how to do it.
"The proof is left to the reader as an exercise..."
I have no idea how to do it.
To: AmishDude
*oh*
That explains much. It was never obvious or exercisable (is there such a word?) to me...

I agree, celebrities should entertain and not grandstand for politics.....Speaking your mind in an interview is one thing, but grandstandinging in public is over the top.
Average Amercians don't get the opportunity to be personally, front and center news with their opinions and statements
These people ought to shut the hell up, regardless of their personal opinions...

People around here who hate the president, call anyone who respect him.... Bushbots. I see. Its just name-calling; not a thought-out response. Thanks.

"Do you never watch the Indy 500?
No, I must admit I do not. However, I did preface my post with "the only sporting event I have seen on TV" Meant no harm."
OK, I didn't understand you to mean that you didn't watch anything else. I thought you were saying that none of the other sports events did any of that.
We also have Jim Nabors every year singing "Back Home Again." I don't think he even missed the year he had his liver transplant.
